Grand Rapids Pictures

Kinda a bad, far away picture, but Top Row (L,R):
Sara (Norway), Nathan (South Africa), Chelsea (Germany), Sam (Brasil), and Branden (Poland). Bottom Row (L,R): Lauren (Thailand), Racheal (Australia), Mariah (Chili), Andy (Faroe Islands), and Emily (Ecuador).

This is me running through the sprinkler. It had rained the whole night and there was a huge thunderstorm. But sure enough, while brushing my teath that morning, I looked out my dorm window, and the sprinklers kicked on. It was halarious and didn't make any sense, so we went outside and ran through them!

Just a picture of me at a party in Grand Rapids. I kept taking pictures of everyone to avoid the dancing. :) It was fun though, and I had a good time. Especially when they played ONE country song the whole night. ha.

This is a picture of (L,R) Andy (out to Faroe Islands), Racheal (out to Australia), John Kenny (THE PRESIDENT OF ROTARY INTERNATIONAL!, from Scotland), Lauran (out to Thailand), and myself (out to Norway).

A Fun Weekend

July 13, 2009
Hey everyone,

So, I have just returned from Grand Rapids, Michigan. There was a Central States Conference held there this weekend from the 9th to the 12th. Being able to learn from the stories of all the Inbounds, Outbounds, and Rebounds, was very helpful. The fact that it was more informal than speech after speech made the learning process way more fun than usual.
The only new news I have is that I will be leaving on August 8th out of Moline, Illinois and then on to Detroit, Michigan, and then Amsterdam, The Netherlands, to Oslo, Norway the capital. I will be living in Slemmestad which is about 35 km south of Oslo. Since school at Røyken vidergående skole starts on the 17th of August, they want me there a little earlier to get ready and accomidated. It sounds like I will have to take a required language course before school starts, so I have that to look forward to.
